Meal planning grocery list app

Plan the week's meals. Shop from one list.

Sunday Table turns the recipes you already love into a weekly lunch and dinner plan, then builds one combined grocery list, sorted by aisle, from everything on it.

Cookbook, tomatoes, garlic and basil beside a handwritten grocery list

From recipes to a full cart in three steps

  1. 1

    Build your recipe library

Paste a recipe link or snap a photo of a cookbook page. Sunday Table pulls out the ingredients and steps, and you can tag each recipe as Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Side and more.

  2. 2

Plan the week in one tap

Choose your days and meals. The planner fills lunch and dinner from your own recipes, adds a side where it fits, and leaves a spot open rather than repeating a meal.

  3. 3

    Shop from one list

Turn the plan into a single grocery list. Matching ingredients are added together and everything is sorted by aisle, so you walk the store once.

A meal planner that knows your recipes

By default the week is Monday to Friday, lunch and dinner. Change the days or meals to suit your household.

  • Tags guide each meal

Recipes tagged Lunch go to lunch and Dinner to dinner. When your library is small, the planner uses them interchangeably so the week still fills up.

  • A few favorites every week

Starred recipes are always worked in, and the more favorites you have, the more of them show up.

  • Drag meals around

Move a meal to another day or swap two meals. Its side comes with it.

  • Shuffle, swap or pick

Reshuffle the whole week, fill only the empty spots, or choose a specific recipe for any slot. Breakfast and dessert can be switched on too.

One grocery list, sorted by aisle

When the plan is set, tap "Make grocery list". Every ingredient from every planned meal lands on one list. You can also add recipes to the list straight from your library.

  • Duplicates combined: 1 cup of broth plus 2 cups becomes 3 cups.
  • Sorted by aisle: produce, meat, dairy, pantry and more.
  • Common produce in mixed amounts is counted as whole items, with a note showing what was estimated.
  • Weekly staples like milk and eggs can be added alongside your recipes, and suggestions learn from what you buy.
  • Check items off in the store; your household sees it live.

Questions

Does it use my own recipes?

Yes. Invite people to your household with a code. Everyone shares the same recipes, favorites, meal plan and grocery list.
What if I only have a handful of recipes?
